When can I visit my unit? At AA Mini Storage, your unit is accessible from 6:00 am – 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. 24-hour access to your unit is available at for a small monthly fee. Please call the office for details.

What kind of self storage do you provide? Currently, AA Mini Self Storage offers outdoor, drive-up self storage. In 2023, we will be adding open space parking for RV’s, trailers and vehicles and (2) Temperature Controlled storage buildings.

Do I have to sign a long-term lease and do you Pro-Rate Rent? All of our leases are month to month. We pro-rate rent when you are moving in. As an example, if you move in on the 28th of the month, you will only pay for 2 days that month. We DO NOT pro-rate out. If you are there on the 1st of the month, you are required to pay for the entire month, so make your move out plans with this in mind.

What forms of payment are accepted? We accept ACH and all major debit or credit cards. *Autopay is required for all space sizes and types.

There are no locks on the units, how do I lock my unit? AA Mini Self Storage is a state-of-the-art, fully automated storage facility which utilizes the Noke® ONE electronic smart lock and Noke® Smart Entry System. Simply download the app, login and access your unit. “No-Key” needed.

What mobile devices are supported? Noke® Smart Entry is compatible with Apple iOS™ (minimum iOS 9.0 or later) and Google Android™ (minimum Kit Kat 4.4 or later) smart phones and cellular-based tablets.

How do I get in touch with a storage representative? Our Storage Counselors are remote. However, if you have a problem on site, we will arrange for one of our Maintenance and Security representatives to meet you on site. How do I know the facility is secure? Rest easy… Security is our #1 priority! Our facility is fully fenced and gated, LED lights are installed approximately every 30 ft, we have (21) high resolution security cameras
throughout the property offering 24-hour video surveillance and all of our new Janus doors are equipped with The Noke® Smart Entry System. We offer the most secure self storage facility in town.

How secure is the Noke® Smart Entry System? Noke® Smart Entry works using Bluetooth 4.0 LE which contains the highest level of security. Bluetooth 4.0 LE uses 128-bit AES CCM encryption algorithm to ensure transmissions are encrypted and secure so hackers can’t access your storage space.

What items am I not allowed to store? Tenants are not allowed to store fireworks, explosives, hazardous waste, chemicals, fertilizers, paint, gasoline, narcotics, and propane tanks. Other items that aren't allowed include perishable food, medicine, plants, and animals.

Am I required to have a tenant property protection plan or insurance or can I use my Home or Renters Insurance policy? All tenants are required to provide proof of insurance or purchase one of our Storage Protection Plans. If you choose to provide proof of insurance, we must receive a copy of your policy showing you have acceptable coverage within 14 days of renting your space. A copy of your policy should be emailed to us at Storage@SCHProperties.org or you will be automatically enrolled in the minimum coverage protection plan. Some, though not all, homeowner's and renter's insurance policies will cover your items while they are in our facility. Please read your policy thoroughly before relying on it for the protection of your property.

How do I cancel my lease? You can cancel your lease at any time with a 10-day notice. You can submit a notice on our website, by emailing us at Storage@SCHProperties.org, or by calling our Contact Center.

There is a problem with my unit, what can I do? Call our Contact Center at (334) 749-7152 or send us an email at Storage@SCHProperties.org. Our representatives are trained to assist you remotely using several troubleshooting techniques. If our agents are not able to assist, they will place a work order for maintenance to assist on site.
